(Just make sure to read the checklist on the prior page first!)
Yeah! You pick your mark - like this one or another.
White, yellow, black - Could be a sister or a brother.
Skinny or fat - it don’t really matter who.
Could be a Christian or a Buddhist - a Muslim or a Jew.
But we bleed the same blood, breathe the same air;
So there’s no reason why we should be livin’ in fear.
But you don’t really care, you just lookin’ for attention;
Startin’ fights from a stare, just to teach someone a lesson.
But the only thing learned is you got troubles of your own -
Nothin’ workin’ trouble lurkin’ pain and anger - all alone.
So you’re always fightin’ in the hallways, all day, scared half to death
Got ‘em lookin for a crawl space.
Don’t hate cause they're gay or skin type -
Cause if you see none of these then we both win, right?
So at night I shut the light and sit and pray
That one day you’re set free and we can both fly away.
That’s not cool, man
You’re better than that
Go get some help
That’s where it’s at
You pick on kids
Man – that’s not right
They want to be your friend
Don’t want to fight
That’s not cool, man
You’re better than that
Go get some help
That’s where it’s at
You pick on kids
Man – that’s not right
They want to be your friend
Don’t want to want to fight
And I ain’t even tryin’ to bully the bully;
I’m just lettin’ you know that nobody can control me.
I wish you’d take a second, just to try and get to know me;
Maybe be friends, if we work at it slowly.
Cause bully or bullied, it’s all the same.
Only where you’re headed matters – not from where you came.
And we're different - very different - but different is good -
From the country, to the shore, the city to the hood.
It’s your time now – you’re the coming generation
You got to stick together – be a unity of nations
And just say no – it’s not gonna happen!
As loud as you can – whether speakin’ or rappin’
And help both sides, all you got to do is try.
Grab the victim by the arm - look the bully in the eye
Speak loud and clear – in your strongest voice.
This doesn’t have to be, homie. You have a choice!
That’s not cool, man,
You’re better than that.
Go get some help,
That’s where it’s at.
You pick on kids, man – that’s not right.
They want to be your friend - don’t want to fight.
That’s not cool, man,
You’re better than that.
Go get some help,
That’s where it’s at.
You pick on kids, man – that’s not right.
They want to be your friend, don’t want to fight.
I know you feel like the sky is fallin’
I know you feel like times are hard
But every time I hear the names you’re callin’
I only end up with scars
And I know I know I know there’s more to you and me
And I know I know I know if you would just believe
Deep down we’re strong, and I believe we could all get along
And not fight, that’s right, now everybody help me sing this song
That’s not cool, man,
You’re better than that.
Go get some help,
That’s where it’s at.
You pick on kids, man – that’s not right.
They want to be your friend, don’t want to fight.
That’s not cool, man,
You’re better than that.
Go get some help,
That’s where it’s at.
You pick on kids, man – that’s not right.
They want to be your friend, don’t want to fight.
Just take what’s good and make it great - Put away all the hurt and the hate.
When you see someone that’s being hurt – don’t grab your phone to tape that dirt
You could be next – how would that feel. This ain’t a joke, man, it’s for real.
